**Job Title** Global Director of IT **Role Summary** Strategic and operational leader responsible for defining and executing a global IT and digital transformation strategy that aligns with business objectives, delivers secure and scalable services, drives efficiency and innovation, and ensures governance, risk, and compliance across all geographies. **Expectations** - Develop and own the global IT roadmap and transformation agenda. - Deliver high‑quality, secure IT services with consistent performance and customer satisfaction. - Standardize and integrate IT operations worldwide while meeting local regulatory requirements. - Build strong relationships with business leaders, external partners, and vendors. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing, diverse global IT team. - Stay abreast of technology trends and introduce innovative solutions. - Travel internationally as needed. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and implement a sector‑wide digital transformation roadmap. - Lead large‑scale technology initiatives to improve service delivery, cost efficiency, and scalability. - Oversee global IT service portfolio, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs. - Establish and maintain governance frameworks, risk controls, cybersecurity, and data‑privacy standards. - Promote integration and standardization of IT services across regions. - Manage global vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery. - Monitor performance metrics, report KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. - Foster a collaborative culture, eliminate operational silos, and champion diversity and inclusion. **Required Skills** - Deep expertise in IT operations, digital transformation, and data management within multinational matrix organizations. - Proven ability to align technology strategy with business goals and optimize processes. - Strong financial acumen and understanding of business operations. - Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional, global teams and driving organizational change. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Willingness to travel internationally. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Preferred: MBA or Master’s in Information Systems/Technology Management. - Preferred certifications: ITIL, COBIT, CISSP, PMP, or other IT governance/cybersecurity/digital transformation credentials.
