Job Title: Analytics Engineer
Role Summary: Build and scale a data warehouse that provides a single source of truth for 19 million users and 130 k DAU, enabling Product, Growth, and Finance teams to derive insights and drive decisions. Own the end‑to‑end data lifecycle—ingestion, transformation, quality, documentation, and reverse ETL—and serve as the liaison between squads and the data platform.
Expectations: Deliver production‑ready data pipelines, secure data quality, and efficient data models. Design tracking regimes, support real‑time processing, and create advanced predictive models and alerts. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend, and Data teams to define data strategy and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models using SQL and DBT.
* Develop data ingestion, transformation, and reverse‑ETL pipelines across high‑traffic sources.
* Define and manage end‑to‑end tracking plans for product features.
* Deploy solutions for real‑time analytics, self‑service dashboards, and CDP integration.
* Implement data quality, documentation, and versioning best practises.
* Create and monitor macro KPIs (Revenue, ARR, MRR, Margin, LTV) and marketing mix metrics.
* Build predictive alerting and scoring models for user churn and subscription potential.
* Conduct cohort, funnel, and usage analytics to inform product evolution.
* Present evidence‑based insights to stakeholders and champion data‑driven decisions.
Required Skills:
* 3‑5 years experience as an Analytics Engineer in AdTech/MarTech or high‑traffic environments.
* Advanced SQL and deep expertise with DBT.
* Strong data‑modeling skills; experience building scalable architectures.
* Python programming and familiarity with AWS services (Redshift, Spectrum).
* Knowledge of tracking, CDP, data marketing, AB testing, and product analytics.
* Proficiency in statistics, predictive analytics, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
* Ability to optimise high‑volume data pipelines and work with DevOps principles.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Optional certifications: AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty, Google Data Analytics Professional, or similar.
