Job Description
**Job Title** Associate Sales/Supply Service Representative (SSR) **Role Summary** Serve as the first line of contact for customers and suppliers, managing order capture, query resolution, and complaint handling. Operate the ERP system to process sales and purchasing transactions, support cross‑functional teams, and uphold service excellence. **Expectations** - Operate within a 37.5‑hour workweek. - Maintain accurate data entry and system updates. - Handle high‑volume, time‑critical tasks while ensuring quality. - Exhibit resilience, adaptability, and a solutions‑focused mindset. - Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external parties. **Key Responsibilities** *Sales‑side* - Receive and process customer orders via email/phone. - Enter orders into ERP and monitor status. - Respond to price, delivery, and other order‑related inquiries. - Resolve customer complaints (e.g., damaged or delayed deliveries). - Keep ERP database current; coordinate with colleagues for updates. *Purchasing‑side* - Generate supplier purchase orders in ERP based on demand, inventory, and supplier terms. - Manage supplier inquiries and resolve order issues (pricing, delivery, damages). - Maintain inventory levels per company policy. - Collaborate with warehouses and logistics partners on PO issues. - Document complaints and propose process improvements. *General* - Communicate professionally via email and phone. - Work collaboratively within a team environment. - Manage workload efficiently, prioritising tasks under tight deadlines. **Required Skills** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong numeracy: quoting, order quantities, reporting, spreadsheet use. - Proficiency with ERP software (JDEdwards) and CRM (Salesforce); on‑the‑job training provided. - Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and identify solutions quickly. - Team player with initiative and a can‑do attitude. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or equivalent. - Supply‑chain, sales support, or business administration certificate is an advantage. - ERP & Salesforce training will be provided; no specific certifications required at entry.
