**Job title** Founding Sales Development Representative – FinTech **Role Summary** First SDR in a Series A FinTech scale‑up. Works directly with founders and senior sales leaders to design and execute an outbound pipeline targeting asset managers, investment firms, and financial institutions. Owns lead generation, qualification, and hand‑off to Account Executives, with a clear progression path into an AE role. **Expectations** - 1–3 years experience as an SDR/BDR in SaaS or FinTech. - Proven outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, cold calling, email) and experience selling to asset managers or investment firms. - Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment. - Highly motivated, curious, and eager to advance into a closing/AE role. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prospect and generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn, cold calling, and customized email campaigns. 2. Qualify inbound leads and calls based on defined criteria (e.g., firm size, decision‑maker role, investment focus). 3. Maintain and update CRM with accurate, timely information (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). 4. Coordinate with product, marketing, and senior sales leadership to refine messaging, collateral, and outreach cadence. 5. Produce and track key metrics (calls, emails, meetings set, pipeline velocity). 6. Hand‑off qualified leads to Account Executives and support the transition process. 7. Continuously learn and iterate on best practices for outbound cadence, objection handling, and industry knowledge. **Required Skills** - Strong outbound prospecting skills (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, email etiquette). - Familiarity with SaaS/FinTech sales cycles and selling to asset managers or investment firms. - Excellent verbal and written communication; persuasive and consultative style. - Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms. - Ability to work independently, self‑manage a schedule, and thrive in a startup pace. - High level of organization, data integrity, and attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. - No mandatory certifications, though familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar platforms is desirable.
