Job Description
**Job Title** Technical Project Manager (Contract) **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex medical‑device platform implementations, acting as both project leader and functional consultant. Manage multiple concurrent deployments, ensuring on‑time, within‑budget execution while guiding clients through technical discovery, configuration, training, and adoption of a SaaS regulatory compliance solution. **Expectations** - Own project lifecycle from planning to post‑go‑live support. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and risk mitigation. - Serve as the primary technical liaison, driving functional requirement capture and solution design. - Maintain rigorous project documentation (charters, plans, RAID logs, status reports) and communicate updates to all parties. - Ensure quality delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement of processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations. - Facilitate technical discovery sessions and translate business needs into platform configurations. - Mentor client teams on best‑practice usage and configure data and workflow options. - Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration (development, operations, product, regulatory, sales, support). - Lead and document team meetings, ensuring clarity of roles and expectations. - Monitor progress, adjust plans, and resolve issues to keep projects on track. - Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders. - Manage change requests, update documentation, and secure approvals. - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. - Oversee quality assurance activities, including reviews and testing of deliverables. - Deliver post‑project reviews, capturing lessons learned for process improvement. **Required Skills** - Proven experience as a technical project manager in SaaS or medical‑device technology implementations. - Strong functional consulting skills, with the ability to translate client business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non‑technical audiences. - Proficiency in project management tools, documentation, and risk/issue tracking systems. - Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and complex stakeholder environments. - Analytical mindset for data‑driven decision making and problem solving. - Familiarity with regulatory processes and compliance in the medical‑device sector (advantageous). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of successful project management experience with a track record of delivering enterprise‑grade implementations. - Certification such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project‑management credential preferred.
