Job Title: Sr. Systems Administrator
Role Summary: Deliver comprehensive technical support for on‑premise and cloud server infrastructure, administer enterprise network functions, and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT systems.
Expactations: 4+ years of systems administration experience, 2+ years of enterprise network support; strong problem‑solving and project coordination skills; full‑time onsite availability with occasional weekend or evening work.
Key Responsibilities: • Deploy, maintain, patch, and monitor servers and network devices.
• Provide end‑user support for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Implement and manage MFA solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and patching.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for projects; basic project management for installs and upgrades.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills: • Systems administration (Windows/Linux, virtualization).
• Enterprise networking (routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, firewalls).
• Cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• MFA and security best practices.
• Troubleshooting, incident response, and monitoring tools.
• Documentation, change management, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Physical capability to lift 25 lb, use ladders, and travel up to 10%.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field OR equivalent certifications portfolio.
• Minimum 4 years of systems admin and network experience; 6 additional years can substitute for a degree.
• Network certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Network+).
• Systems certifications (MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, Red Hat, CompTIA Server+).
• Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.) strongly encouraged.
