Job Description
Job Title: Technical Systems Analyst 1 Role Summary Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing technology changes across Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and end‑user environments to ensure smooth, controlled implementation with minimal disruption to clinical and administrative operations. Expectations - Implement change management processes in line with ITSM/ITIL best practices. - Coordinate release schedules, testing, validation, and approvals. - Communicate change impacts to stakeholders and end‑users. - Support incident and problem management for change‑related events. - Identify opportunities for process improvement in change and release management. Key Responsibilities - Track and document technology updates, releases, and maintenance activities. - Facilitate change review boards and ensure thorough assessment and documentation. - Maintain change calendar and coordinate scheduling to minimize downtime. - Validate and obtain necessary approvals before deployment. - Assist incident/problem management for change‑related incidents. - Develop and update transition documents, SLAs, and related documentation. - Communicate status and impact of changes to clinicians, staff, and regional partners. Required Skills - Working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL frameworks. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities. - Proven communication, leadership, and customer‑service skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (server & desktop) and Active Directory. - Understanding of desktop, server, hardware, software, and networking technologies. - Ability to assess impact of changes on integrated systems. - Fluency in English and French (advanced oral and written). - Familiarity with current technology trends and emerging tools. Required Education & Certifications - College diploma or university degree in a related field. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT client‑service environment. - Documentation skills: Service Level Agreements, transition documents. Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory) - ServiceNow platform experience (ITSM, HRSD, EAM modules). - Microsoft Modern Work certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-102). - Experience managing Windows environments (SCCM, Intune, Defender). - Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2). - Cybersecurity certification (Security+, CISSP). - Experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
