Job Description
**Job Title:** Human Resources Coordinator (12‑Month Contract) **Role Summary:** Part‑time HR Coordinator providing operational HR support for a global SaaS company’s North American business. Responsible for employee lifecycle management, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, HR metrics, and policy improvement across Canada and the US. **Expectations:** - Deliver comprehensive HR support to employees, managers, and leaders. - Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives. - Administer employee benefits and compensation benchmarking. - Produce HR reports and metrics for senior leadership. - Implement and refine employment policies and procedures. - Support US‐specific HR compliance and be ready to travel to the US. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Facilitate employee onboarding and design/implement training programs. 2. Oversee talent acquisition, conduct interviews, and build hiring relationships for Canada and US markets. 3. Update and maintain employee records and HRIS data. 4. Administer benefits programs (holiday, retirement, etc.). 5. Support annual compensation benchmarking and performance reviews. 6. Analyze HR metrics, generate reports for senior management/Group HR. 7. Suggest and implement improvements to employment policies and HR processes. 8. Offer day‑to‑day HR support to General/Regional Managers. 9. Conduct engagement surveys and initiatives across North America. 10. Ensure compliance with Canadian ER laws and US state legislation (California, Florida, Chicago, DC, Virginia). 11. Manage cross‑time‑zone coordination with APAC HR leadership and UK team. **Required Skills:** - HR Generalist experience with Canadian ER knowledge. - Recruitment expertise in North American markets. - Ability to scale talent acquisition for Canada and the US. - Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. - Proficient in MS Office, databases, and HRIS systems. - Organizational and time‑management capabilities. - Ethical conduct and high level of integrity. - Willingness to travel to the US and learn new state legislation. - Comfortable working across multiple time zones (report to APAC, support from UK). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, HRCI‑PHR) preferred. ---
