Job Description
**Job Title** Industrial Subsidiary Director (F/H) **Role Summary** Lead a 20‑person engineering subsidiary focused on specialized machinery and motorisation in automotive and aerospace markets. Provide autonomous strategic, operational, technical, and commercial direction, reporting directly to the Group President. **Expectations** - Deliver a successful turnaround and sustainable growth. - Maintain engineering excellence and product quality. - Demonstrate strong leadership and strategic decision‑making. - Manage complex projects in challenging market and resource environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and execute the subsidiary’s strategic plan and KPIs. - Own full P&L management: forecast, budget, cost control, and profitability. - Lead product development lifecycle from concept to commercial release. - Drive business development, client relationships, and market expansion. - Oversee day‑to‑day operations, production, quality, and supply chain. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Build and mentor a high‑performance engineering and business team. - Communicate performance and strategy to senior stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Proven executive/management experience (≥15 yrs) in an industrial turnaround. - Expertise in systems engineering and complex machinery design. - Deep knowledge of automotive and/or aerospace sectors. - Strong financial acumen and P&L ownership. - Leadership, team building, and change‑management capabilities. - Decision‑making, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Systems, Aeronautics, Energy) or equivalent. (Professional certifications not mandatory.)
