Job title: Enterprise Architect
Role Summary
Lead enterprise architecture strategy, driving cloud-first modernization and application rationalization. Define standards, governance, and transformation roadmaps to simplify and scale the technology landscape.
Expectations
- Deliver and maintain a coherent architectural vision aligned with business goals.
- Own application portfolio assessment, post-rationalization plans, and cloud adoption frameworks.
- Influence senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and target‑state blueprints.
- Lead application portfolio assessments to surface redundancies, risks, and modernization needs.
- Create post‑rationalization architecture recommendations (re‑platforming, consolidation, retirement, SaaS migration, cloud‑native refactoring).
- Design scalable, secure, resilient multi‑cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) architectures, including landing zones, networking, IAM, data, and integration patterns.
- Partner with engineering to deliver cloud‑native, containerized, DevOps solutions and API‑led architectures.
- Develop and own multi‑year transformation roadmaps, build‑vs‑buy and SaaS vs. custom decisions.
- Communicate technology strategy, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and project teams.
- Manage architecture governance, solution reviews, risk evaluations, and vendor alignment.
- Ensure designs meet security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Required Skills
- 12–20 years of enterprise and solution architecture experience.
- Deep expertise in application rationalization frameworks and post‑assessment architecture.
- Hands‑on cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with experience in landing zones, networking, IAM, and data integration.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, messaging, event‑driven, and serverless patterns.
- Proficiency in defining and implementing architectural governance processes.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar EA frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are advantageous.
