Job title: Operation Support Services Analyst
Role Summary:
Provide analytical and financial support to the Warehouse Management Department, ensuring efficient daily operations, accurate KPI reporting, budget preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate system integration, audit compliance, and project management activities to enhance warehouse performance and alignment with enterprise ERP systems.
Expectations:
- Deliver timely, data‑driven insights to leadership for decision‑making.
- Champion process improvement, cost‑benefit analysis, and business case development.
- Maintain data integrity across WMS and ERP, and manage 3PL reporting.
- Lead or support cross‑functional projects, driving implementation and evaluation.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and collaboration within and outside the warehouse division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial aspects and KPI monitoring for the warehouse department.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on departmental scorecards and project status.
- Identify plan‑vs‑actual gaps, variances, and trends; recommend sustainable improvements.
- Compile recurring financial data for accruals, project capitalization, and budgeting.
- Lead annual budget preparation, forecasts, and expense estimation.
- Manage departmental projects from research and analysis through post‑implementation review.
- Conduct cost‑benefit studies and build business cases for initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain business process flows and performance standards.
- Assist in WMS SAP implementation/integration and 3PL contract administration.
- Ensure data accuracy within the warehouse database and ERP alignment.
- Allocate materials, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate on material/warehouse matters.
Required Skills
- Business process redesign, analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Strong data management: extraction, querying, and handling large datasets.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
- Proficiency in MS Project and general MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of SAP (Warehouse Management module).
- Supply Chain/warehouse management experience (asset).
- Project management understanding (PMP, CSCMP or equivalent considered asset).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and recommendation skills.
- Effective communication, stakeholder influence, and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and within team environments.
- Adaptability to change and proactive solution orientation.
- Class G driver’s license.
Required Education & Certifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent college diploma (preferred).
- Professional certifications: PMP, CSCMP, or other project management designations (asset).
