Job Description
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Role Summary: Build and scale software for an embedded Linux platform that processes real‑time electrical datasets and deploys machine‑learning inference on building‑management devices. Expactations: - Deliver reliable, maintainable embedded software that supports continuous device operation. - Prioritize rapid integration of new hardware and features within a fast‑moving startup schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain embedded Linux applications and services. - Create APIs and system interfaces for data ingestion, time‑series processing, and remote diagnostics. - Integrate machine‑learning inference pipelines and evolve them in collaboration with technical advisors. - Implement device connectivity (WAN/LAN) and support remote firmware updates. - Translate Figma designs into functional product interfaces. - Collaborate directly with firmware and hardware teams during system integration. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python and Linux system programming. - Strong familiarity with networking protocols and device communication stacks. - Experience working close to hardware (GPIO, serial, SPI, I2C). - Knowledge of signal‑processing concepts and ML inference deployment. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a startup environment. - Background in robotics, IoT, embedded AI, or systems engineering is preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - No specific certifications required.
