Job Title: Software Engineer
Role Summary: Act as an Integration Consultant in an Anaplan squad, bridging business planning needs with technical integration solutions across ERP, cloud, and data platforms. Design, validate, and advise on secure, scalable integration flows while supporting model building and client pre‑sales activities.
Expectations:
• Deliver integration designs that meet functional requirements and security standards.
• Communicate effectively with supply‑chain planners, model builders, and IT stakeholders.
• Validate Customer IT built integrations and provide technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workshops with client planners to capture functional requirements.
• Translate planning needs into integration‑ready technical options, data flows, and Anaplan modules.
• Serve as the technical liaison among planning teams, model builders, and customer IT.
• Lead/discover integration sessions, gather system requirements, recommend architecture patterns.
• Design, build, advise, and test integrations between Anaplan and ERP/data platforms.
• Build simple integration components (API/Postman calls, JDBC queries, batch scripts).
• Validate and challenge Customer IT’s integrations for best‑practice alignment.
• Support end‑to‑end testing: data validation, field mappings, refresh cadence design.
• Represent integration expertise during pre‑sales, answering IT‑related questions.
• Contribute to practice assets—templates, best practices, checklists, reusable patterns.
Required Skills:
• 3–5 years consulting or systems integration experience.
• Coding/scripting proficiency (Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript).
• Experience collaborating with ERP, data engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud teams.
• Client‑facing workshop and discovery session experience.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain planning concepts (demand, supply, inventory, S&OP).
• Ability to read API docs; hands‑on with REST APIs (Postman).
• Knowledge of connectivity protocols (SFTP, OAuth, tokens, whitelisting).
• Capability to build simple integrations (JDBC, batch scripts, lightweight ETL).
• Conceptual understanding of data architecture, pipelines, ERPs, and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with EtL/iPaaS tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, SAP Adapter) preferred; strong learning ability accepted.
• SAP awareness is a major plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and risk‑identification skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Master’s degree in a hybrid business‑technology domain (Business Engineering & IS, Applied Economics with IT specialization) or a technical/STEM degree with consulting orientation.
• Anaplan certifications (Model Builder, CloudWorks, HyperConnect) are a plus, not mandatory.
• Integration tool certifications (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, SAP Adapter) are a plus.
