**Job Title** Sales Director, EMEA **Role Summary** Lead and grow EMEA sales operations for a global AI‑powered customer engagement platform, driving enterprise and mid‑market account acquisition while building a high‑performance sales culture. **Expectations** - Delivering ARR – closed‑won targets, pipeline generation, linearly expanding forecast accuracy, and on‑time quota attainment. - Recruiting, hiring, and developing a scalable bench for backfills and expansion. - Collaborating with Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Operations, Partner, and Executive teams to refine processes and shorten sales cycles. **Key Responsibilities** - Head EMEA North and South sales teams of Enterprise and Mid‑Market Account Executives. - Oversee daily performance, set coaching priorities, and conduct rigorous performance reviews. - Generate and forecast pipeline; track and report on key metrics (ARR closed‑won, pipeline, forecast accuracy). - Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement and technology adoption. - Build strategic partnerships across business development, solution consulting, marketing, partner network, and executive stakeholders. - Identify and implement strategies to improve sales cycle efficiency and win rates. - Represent Iterable across the EMEA region, attending client events, partner meetings, and cross‑functional forums. **Required Skills** - Proven sales leadership: 5+ years in high‑tech startup sales management; 8‑10+ years in quota‑carrying B2B enterprise software sales. - Demonstrated success in net‑new acquisition and consistently exceeding quotas and metrics. - Expertise in enterprise email marketing/marketing automation is preferred. - Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other CRM platforms. - Knowledge of Challenger Sales Methodology and MEDDPIC qualification framework. - Strong organizational, prioritization, and deadline‑management skills. - Excellent communication; inspirational leadership; team‑player in fast‑paced environments. - Bilingual capability in an EMEA language (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) is a plus. - Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA and occasionally to the USA. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No mandatory certifications listed, but experience with CRM and sales‑enablement tools is required.
