Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead and execute complex network design, implementation, and optimization projects within a high‑performing team, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure. Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and hands‑on management of advanced Cisco technologies across the enterprise network.
Expectations:
- Deliver critical network projects on schedule and within scope.
- Demonstrate ownership in problem resolution and infrastructure improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
- Maintain active professional competency in English and French.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement network solutions, prioritizing performance and security.
- Lead end‑to‑end network projects, driving from concept through deployment and hand‑off.
- Advise on network strategy and architecture alongside management.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering continuous technical growth.
- Administer Cisco ACI environments (create EPGs, Bridge Domains, configure ports).
- Operate Cisco Catalyst Center: monitor performance, manage inventory, automate tasks.
- Manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) access policies.
- Design, implement, and maintain MPLS networks with BGP and VRF routing.
- Configure and maintain Catalyst switches (VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP).
- Deploy and manage Wi‑Fi infrastructure (APs, WLC‑9800 Controllers).
- Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents using advanced tools such as Wireshark.
Required Skills:
- Hands‑on Cisco ACI (EPGs, Bridge Domains, port configuration).
- Cisco Catalyst Center monitoring, inventory, and automation.
- ISE access policy administration.
- Expert-level MPLS with BGP and VRF.
- Advanced routing & switching on Cisco Catalyst (VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP).
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostics (Wireshark, other monitoring tools).
- Wi‑Fi deployment and maintenance (APs, WLC‑9800).
- Strong problem‑solving, ownership, and impact‑driven mindset.
- Ability to mentor and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Mandatory Cisco CCIE certification (current).
- Valid proficiency in English (professional) and French (professional).
