Job Description

**Job Title:** Solutions Architect **Role Summary:** Design and deliver end‑to‑end Google Cloud solutions that address customers’ business challenges. Focus on cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, security, migration) and data capabilities (BigQuery, analytics, AI/ML foundations). Guide organizations through their cloud adoption journey, from assessment to implementation and optimisation. **Expactations:** - Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, cloud‑native architectures. - Proven track record in pre‑sales, consulting, or cloud solutions delivery. - Strong client‑facing skills with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders. - Proactive engagement in continuous learning of Google Cloud technologies and industry best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct technical discovery sessions and build high‑level solution prototypes. - Create detailed architectural designs, migration plans, and cost‑benefit analyses. - Deliver pre‑sales presentations, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical demonstrations to prospects. - Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to close deals and onboard customers. - Provide guidance on security, compliance, and governance best practices across GCP services. - Mentor and coach internal teams on cloud‑migration frameworks and data‑centric solutions. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI). - Experience with cloud‑migration of on‑premises workloads to GCP, including infrastructure, network, and data migration. - Strong pre‑sales and solution‑design experience in an IT services or cloud‑solution provider environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple engagements, and deliver within agreed timelines. - Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. - Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent cloud‑architecture certification). - Additional certifications in cloud migration, security, or data‑analytics are an advantage.
