**Job Title**
Cloud / Network Data Engineer – IA
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructures and data pipelines that feed AI models and business dashboards. Act as the technical bridge between data, AI, and product teams to ensure performance, scalability, and security of data solutions.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 3 years cloud and data engineering experience, preferably in AI or big‑data environments.
- Proven ability to work independently, initiate improvements, and deliver measurable results.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams (data science, product, engineering).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, maintain, and tune cloud‑based ETL/ELT pipelines for AI workloads and reporting.
- Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) covering networking, security, storage, and compute.
- Partner with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and latency meet model requirements.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale cloud systems; implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Define and promote cloud and data best practices across the organization.
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and adapt architecture accordingly (optional).
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancers, security groups).
- Hands‑on experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and stream processing.
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Python, Bash).
- IaC expertise (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Ability to design horizontally scalable, fault‑tolerant architectures.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications are preferred (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Certifications in data engineering or big‑data technologies (e.g., AWS Big Data, Databricks, Snowflake) are an advantage.
