We are currently looking for a Finance Officer for one of our clients, an environmental organization based in Brussels.

With a team of around one hundred employees, this organization is dedicated to major environmental issues, with a particular focus on waste reduction and risk prevention. With several offices across Europe, it operates both locally and internationally to promote sustainable and safe solutions.

As a Finance Officer, you will work closely with the CFO, a manager who adopts a relaxed and approachable management style, fostering a calm yet efficient work atmosphere.

Function:

Support budgeting, financial reporting, payroll accounting and invoicing
Assist the CFO in preparing the master budget and presenting financial reports
Liaise with the external accountant and support audit processes
Prepare detailed P&L statements, balance sheets and analyze variances
Administrative tasks: manage supplier relationships and procure office supplier, handle general correspondence and assist with onboarding new employees, collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with internal policies

Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 3 years of experience in Accounting
You are fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
You are autonomous and rigorous
You possess a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
You are ready to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting operational and strategic priorities
