**Job Title**
Marketing, Communication & Event Assistant
**Role Summary**
Assist the Marketing and New Business department of a leading creative agency. Responsibilities cover digital communication, content creation, client relations, and event management. The role requires managing social media posts, newsletters, employee advocacy, webinars, and a variety of internal and client‑facing events, while supporting proposal preparation and client engagement initiatives.
**Expectations**
- Current Master’s student in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong French written communication skills; English proficiency is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating across teams.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for digital media and contemporary communication tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Digital Communication & Content**
- Produce, schedule, and publish LinkedIn posts derived from press releases and expert commentary.
- Draft internal communication pieces and share via Teams, Sprout, and other employee‑advocacy platforms.
- Create assets for VML TALKS webinars.
- Compile and distribute monthly newsletters summarizing agency communications.
2. **Marketing Event Projects**
- Participate in planning and execution of agency events (e.g., Future 100, Tomorrow’s Commerce, BtoB Mornings, “Back from Cannes”, client celebrations).
- Coordinate content and logistical support for webinars, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Assist in the preparation of promotional kits and event goodies, including collaboration with the U.S. office for major events like Cannes Lions.
3. **Client Relations & Strategic Reporting**
- Support loyalty and outreach initiatives for clients and prospects.
- Aid in the development and launch of key reports (Future 100, Tomorrow’s Commerce, etc.).
- Contribute to responses to RFPs by coordinating legal, financial, and operational stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Excellent written French (and optional English).
- Proficient with social media management, press release distribution, and digital collaboration tools (Teams, Sprout, etc.).
- Project‑management aptitude with an eye for detail and timelines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, autonomous, and effective team player.
- Interest in digital marketing, data‑driven communication, and event production.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current pursuit of a Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, or equivalent.
- No specific certifications required but knowledge of advertising industry practices is advantageous.
