Job Description
Job Title: R&D Validation - IC Validation - II Role Summary: Develop and execute validation tests for ICs using low‑current and temperature sensors, NFC, digital interfaces, ARM Cortex SoCs, and machine‑learning engines. Build automated regression suites, report results, and collaborate across validation, design, and product engineering teams. Expactations: Drive all stages of IC validation lifecycle with a structured planning, execution, and reporting approach. Deliver reusable, high‑quality test cases and maintain regression environments. Coordinate effort estimates, progress reports, and ensure alignment with engineering processes (ISO 9001, CMMI). Communicate findings clearly in English and support continuous improvement of validation workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Design, document, and run validation test cases per V&V plan. - Develop and maintain automated regression suites; integrate new tests. - Analyze and report validation results, highlighting issues and trends. - Collaborate with V&V, design, and product engineers to resolve defects. - Estimate effort, plan tasks, and provide regular project status updates. - Follow department engineering processes and quality standards. - Mentor junior team members and share best practices. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python (structured programming). - C/C++ experience for embedded/low‑level software. - Knowledge of measurement techniques and instrumentation. - Strong understanding of SoC architecture and functional interactions. - Familiarity with VHDL/Verilog, simulation, and FPGA synthesis (advantage). - Insight into signal‑processing systems. - Experience in ISO 9001 and/or CMMI environments. - Excellent English communication; organized, proactive, and collaborative mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant certifications in embedded systems, hardware verification, or ISO/CMMI (if available).
