Job Title: VP, Software Engineering
Role Summary:
Lead and transform enterprise software development teams, driving AI adoption, DevSecOps, and process modernization. Oversee architecture, security, and delivery of IT initiatives, aligning with global standards and stakeholder expectations.
Expectations:
- Execute strategic vision for development operations across full‑time, contract, and offshore staff.
- Deliver high‑quality, secure, and maintainable web‑based systems within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion AI‑driven development practices to enhance capacity and quality.
- Manage hiring, coaching, and performance of diverse development teams.
- Ensure application design supports long‑term maintenance, architecture, and security compliance.
- Lead project delivery for large strategic IT initiatives.
- Develop resource plans aligned with IT strategy and coordinate cross‑functional relationships.
- Own demand management, steering committee facilitation, and business‑IT alignment.
- Maintain application security, address vulnerabilities, and drive modernization.
- Establish and enforce best‑practice policies, procedures, and Agile SDLC standards.
- Facilitate developer meetings, knowledge sharing, and change management initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership in IT application development (minimum 5 years).
- Hands‑on developer experience building commercial web‑based systems (minimum 5 years).
- Expertise in AI‑driven software development throughout the lifecycle.
- Strong Agile SDLC methodology knowledge and implementation experience.
- DevSecOps practices and security‑centric architecture.
- Talent development, coaching, and performance management.
- Stakeholder management, diplomacy, and superior communication (verbal & written).
- Strategic problem solving, critical thinking, and fast‑paced execution.
- Experience in highly regulated industries.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Certifications relevant to Agile, DevSecOps, or AI development preferred (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer).
