Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Role Summary: Lead the design and architecture of a core insurance system transformation, aligning technology strategy with business objectives to deliver scalable, compliant, and future‑ready solutions.
Expectations: Own architectural definition, maintain an evolving target state, develop a multi‑year roadmap, champion consistency and best practices across engineering and architecture teams, and advise senior leadership on technology direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise architecture for core insurance domains, ensuring alignment with overall technology strategy.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify gaps, design solutions, and drive transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a technical target state and multi‑year roadmap.
- Bridge engineering and architecture teams to enforce standards, consistency, and best practices.
- Integrate industry trends and emerging technologies (cloud, integration, orchestration, AI, etc.) into architecture decisions.
- Ensure compliance with risk, cyber security, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present architecture reviews, ensuring solutions meet program objectives.
- Act as trusted advisor on architectural direction to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of enterprise or lead solutions architecture experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Deep technical fluency in contemporary technologies (cloud, integration, orchestration, AI) and insurance technologies (PAS, CMS, Pricing).
- Proficiency in data domains: MDM, data warehousing, analytics, ML, and data pipelines.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale system transformations, automation, and engineering excellence.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and cross‑functional team collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF (preferred), along with certifications in cloud, data management, or security where applicable.
