Job Title: Director, Quote-to-Contract Operations— Surgical Robotics
Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quote-to-Contract (QTC) process for the Surgical Robotics segment. Own end‑to‑end deal structuring, contract redlining, governance, and alignment across sales, finance, legal, and marketing to enable rapid, compliant, and accurate commercial execution.
Expactations: Establish a scalable QTC framework, drive adoption of best practices, and deliver operational excellence in a cross‑functional, high‑growth, capital‑intensive environment. Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers, balancing speed and risk while maintaining compliance with contract law and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and roll out a commercial QTC strategy, roadmap, and governance processes.
- Define roles, processes, and systems for a scalable quote and contracting function.
- Facilitate deal model/structure discussions involving sales, finance, legal, and leadership.
- Lead contract redline and approval for Hugo deals, ensuring timely execution.
- Maintain and update contract templates, playbooks, and compliance standards.
- Monitor the QTC pipeline, develop KPIs, and report status, risks, and achievements.
- Champion best‑practice adoption across the organization as a change agent.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Contract & Pricing, and IT to align pricing strategies, discount frameworks, and technology roadmaps.
- Drive continuous improvement of workflows, data accuracy, and system enhancements (CPQ, CLM, Salesforce, ERP).
- Lead training, communication plans, and field readiness initiatives for new processes and systems.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years commercial contracting, pricing strategy, or operations experience; 10+ total in the field.
- Strong command of contract law, compliance regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
- Proven negotiation of complex agreements and multi‑priority management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving.
- Technical proficiency with commercial CRM (SFDC) and contract management systems (Conga, PROS, etc.) and process automation.
- Strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and ability to simplify complex workflows.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in contract management, CPQ/CLM, or finance preferred.
