**Job Title:** Data Analyst & Big Data Intern **Role Summary:** Support and enhance a Python-based battery management system (BMS) calibration tool for a clean mobility division. The role involves learning existing code, adding new functionalities, analyzing battery and CAN data, defining failure criteria, and generating analytical reports. **Expectations:** - Quickly understand and improve the current Python tool. - Add relevant features to support BMS calibration and monitoring. - Identify key battery and BMS functions through study and code analysis. - Interpret and transform CAN interface data into usable metrics. - Define and implement criteria for system failure detection. - Collect statistics and performance measures. - Produce clear, actionable analysis reports. **Key Responsibilities:** - Upgrade and extend the existing Python data‑analysis framework. - Translate raw CAN messages into structured data. - Implement data conversion, filtering, and aggregation routines. - Define metrics and thresholds for BMS fault detection. - Extract and compile statistical insights from battery operation data. - Document findings and generate periodic analysis reports. **Required Skills:** - Familiarity with embedded systems (automotive, railway) and their software pipelines. - Strong coding practices: readable, maintainable, and well‑documented code. - Proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and related data‑analysis libraries. - Excellent command of English (reading, writing, communication). - Curious, rigorous, self‑directed work ethic. - Knowledge of lithium‑ion or other battery chemistries and BMS architecture is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s (Bac + 4/5) degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
