Job Description

Within the Engineering Product Validation department, you will develop Python modules using deep learning and artificial intelligence libraries (YOLO, OpenCV…) in order to optimize and improve the processing of various tests.

Desired start date: June 2026 Duration: 3 months

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Developing Python modules for AI and deep learning applications
Managing the project independently and monitoring progress
Providing weekly reports on progress and identified roadblocks
Building databases and collaborating with teams to define input data requirements for the models
Validating the developed models
Writing software documentation

Candidate Profile

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3/4/5 equivalent) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
You have an intermediate level of English (B1/B2)
You have strong proficiency in Windows and Python
You have intermediate knowledge of optical recognition and deep learning modules
You have intermediate project management skills
You are comfortable using tools such as Spyder, YOLO, and OpenCV
You demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, dynamism, and perseverance

Location: Sigmatech – Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (40 km from Lyon, carpooling available)
