**Job Title**
Account Executive – Mid Market
**Role Summary**
Lead the growth and renewal of a portfolio of mid‑market accounts. Drive quota, gross and net retention, and cross‑sell/upsell opportunities through consultative selling, strategic account planning, and effective lifecycle management.
**Expectations**
- Surpass quarterly and annual revenue, retention, and expansion targets for assigned accounts.
- Deliver accurate forecasting for renewals, upgrades, and expansion.
- Maintain strong partnership with customers and internal teams to ensure adoption and value realization.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain relationships with economic buyers, champions, and stakeholders to understand workforce‑upskilling needs.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer goals and industry data.
- Manage onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal phases, ensuring smooth transitions and contract compliance.
- Create, update, and close renewal and expansion opportunities, maintaining forecast accuracy.
- Provide guidance on products, best practices, and business reviews to demonstrate measurable value.
- Maintain CRM (account health, plans, activities, communications, NPS) in accordance with corporate standards.
- Issue timely quotes, proposals, and contracts following standard business practices.
- Identify and pursue cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within existing books of business.
- Collaborate across functions (Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal) to support the customer lifecycle.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in B2B sales, account management, or renewals.
- Proven experience in renewal forecasting, quoting, opportunity management, pricing, and contracting.
- Strong consultative selling ability with a focus on solution‑based approaches.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools for virtual client meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships and prioritize urgency.
- Comfortable operating with CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce and MEDDPIC preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Salesforce, CSM) preferred.
