**Job Title:**
Application Production Support Analyst (PeopleSoft)
**Role Summary:**
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for PeopleSoft HR applications within a banking environment. Ensure continuous operation of PeopleSoft production and pre‑production environments, monitor alerts, resolve incidents, manage change requests, and produce operational reports. Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams while maintaining compliance with security and governance standards.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 4 years of application support experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
- Proven expertise with PeopleSoft HR (menus, security roles, App Engine, SQR/SQC reporting).
- Strong command of English (French a plus).
- Availability for off‑hours and weekend support/changes as required.
- On‑site presence 3 days per week, with mandatory office attendance on Mondays or Fridays.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Actively monitor PeopleSoft PROD and pre‑prod environments; verify uptime and performance.
- Perform incident triage, remediation, and escalation (L1/L2 support); create and track tickets in ServiceNow.
- Analyze Process Scheduler statuses (Cancel, Error, No Success) and resolve scheduling issues using Autosys.
- Collaborate with external IT teams and development for Level 3 escalations and root‑cause analysis.
- Configure and manage monitoring alerts (Sysload, Geneos) and generate new alert definitions.
- Administer Windows PeopleSoft servers (storage, backups) and Unix/Linux servers; handle SailPoint account provisioning/de‑provisioning.
- Lead operational meetings with BRM and ADM teams to address pending incidents and problems.
- Own change management for pre‑production and production environments; ensure compliance with corporate change policies.
- Participate in project planning phases to prepare production for upcoming releases; assist in application patching and security vulnerability remediation.
- Produce regular status reports for management, prioritize work, and drive escalation processes.
- Conduct data‑sensitivity controls, generate analysis reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Optionally assume project‑lead responsibilities for special initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- PeopleSoft HR administration (menus, security, App Engine, SQR/SQC).
- Scripting: PowerShell, Shell (Bash), VBS.
- Database: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server (SQL query, performance tuning).
- Operating Systems: Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.
- Scheduling tools: Autosys (and related $U scripts).
- Monitoring tools: Sysload, Geneos.
- Web/Application servers: Apache Tomcat, IIS.
- ServiceNow ticketing and incident management.
- Collaboration platforms: SharePoint.
- File transfer protocols and encryption/decryption utilities.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, PeopleSoft Application/Technical Certification, or relevant banking IT certifications.
