Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior OT Infrastructure Engineer **Role Summary:** Hands‑on senior engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure in a large industrial manufacturing environment. Focus on Windows Server and VMware virtualization, ensuring stable, secure, and high‑performing production systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 + years of infrastructure experience in OT/industrial settings. - Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). - Ability to work on‑site 2 days per week and autonomously manage tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support and maintain OT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, and related services. - Administer Windows Server environments (configuration, performance tuning, lifecycle management). - Manage VMware ESXi/vSphere platforms, including provisioning, patching, and monitoring. - Ensure system stability, performance, and security for production operations. - Contribute to network segmentation and firewall implementations specific to OT. - Collaborate with automation, engineering, and IT teams on integration and improvement projects. - Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Strong expertise in Operational Technology environments. - Advanced knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere administration. - Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server ecosystem. - Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and segmentation. - Experience in complex manufacturing or production settings. - Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving abilities. - Structured, proactive, and capable of independent work. - Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent.
