Job Description

Job title: Senior Level 3 Product Support Engineer (Male/Female) Role Summary: Provide expert analysis and resolution of complex incidents on critical railway communication systems used across 25+ countries. Contribute to 24‑hour support processes, validate product functionality, and maintain high network quality to ensure passenger and operational safety. Expectations: * Manage high‑impact, multi‑system issues independently. * Deliver timely, accurate solutions that support continuous 24x7 service reliability. * Communicate findings and resolutions clearly to multidisciplinary engineering teams. * Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving communication protocols and security requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Investigate product and client‑reported system problems, propose effective fixes. * Develop and refine 24‑hour support workflows for rapid service restoration. * Document and update investigation principles for affected products or solutions. * Participate in product validation processes to enhance learning and reliability. * Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents. * Execute thorough testing and verification to ensure network integrity and quality. Required Skills: * Advanced knowledge of GSM, GSM‑R, Core Network elements (MSC, HLR, MGW), 4G, IMS, MCx. * Proficiency with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark), call‑flow debugging, and trace capture/interpretation. * Solid Linux fundamentals; virtualization understanding is advantageous. * Strong analytical reasoning, autonomous problem‑solving, and team collaboration. * Effective written and verbal communication in English. Required Education & Certifications: * Master’s level (Bac +5) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Professional certifications in telecom networks or Linux (preferred but not mandatory).
