Job title: Senior Digital Verification Engineer
Role Summary: Lead verification of digital IC blocks, subsystems, and top‑level functions for a new high‑volume product line. Define verification strategy, design and automate test cases, maintain regression infrastructure, and collaborate with architecture, firmware, layout, and analog teams to ensure silicon reliability and schedule adherence.
Expectations: Deliver silicon that meets functional and performance targets, achieve high coverage with efficient execution, maintain scalable test benches, and provide clear documentation and reviews supporting release to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end verification of digital components, including specification definition, test‑case creation, and coverage analysis.
- Develop and automate test cases in SystemVerilog/UVM, Python, and assertion‑based frameworks.
- Optimize test benches for speed and coverage, managing regression runs and test‑suite maintenance.
- Conduct code and design reviews, participate in technical discussions, and provide guidance on verification best practices.
- Interface with architects, firmware, layout, and analog colleagues to resolve design issues and ensure integrated system validity.
- Monitor and report verification metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of digital IC design and/or verification experience.
- Deep expertise in UVM, SystemVerilog, and assertion‑based verification.
- Proven track record of delivering production‑ready silicon for high‑volume releases.
- Proficiency with Cadence EDA simulation tools and Synopsys Spyglass.
- Working knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, and Python; familiarity with low‑power techniques, audio processing, and AI accelerators is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in UVM, EDA tools, or digital verification (preferred but not mandatory).
