Job Description
Job title: Backend Developer – Node.js Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑performance Node.js APIs for a Creative Suite SaaS platform. Lead DevOps work on AWS using Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of backend services. Expectations: Minimum 4 years of professional Node.js development. Fluency in French (C1‑C2) required; technical English proficiency preferred. Strong autonomy, analytical problem‑solving, and collaborative communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and code robust, secure RESTful APIs in Node.js. - Integrate and optimize payment gateways, token management, and transaction flows. - Ensure backend scalability and performance under high transaction volumes. - Implement data protection and security mechanisms for sensitive information. - Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and other backend teams to maintain a cohesive ecosystem. Required Skills: - 4+ years of Node.js development experience. - Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API design. - Proficient with MySQL and Redis; familiarity with ClickHouse a plus. - Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD tools, and container orchestration. - Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda etc.) and IaC with Terraform. - Strong coding standards, version control (Git), and automated testing practices. - Excellent French communication; technical English acceptable. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). - Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or IaC‑specific credentials are a plus.
