Job title: Security Manager
Role summary: Leads and oversees all security operations for two upscale resort properties, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and assets through proactive risk management, policy development, and team leadership.
Expectations: Manage full security lifecycle, maintain regulatory compliance, coordinate with local authorities, and balance security rigor with a welcoming guest experience.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and update security policies, emergency response plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks across both resorts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise on‑site security personnel, ensuring performance and continuity.
• Monitor surveillance, access control, and incident reporting systems.
• Coordinate security responses to incidents, including crisis management and incident documentation.
• Liaise with local law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and vendors to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
• Maintain incident logs, produce reports, and present findings to senior management.
Required skills:
• Proven leadership experience managing security teams in multi-property hospitality settings.
• Extensive knowledge of security best practices, risk assessment, and emergency protocols in luxury or high-end resort environments.
• Strong crisis management, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly in remote or island locations and adapt to varying operational contexts.
• Competency in security technology, surveillance systems, and incident management software.
Required education & certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
• Professional security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent).
• Valid credentials for offshore or international security operations if required by jurisdiction.
