Job Description: Job Title: SAS Consultant (SAS Architect) Role Summary: Senior SAS architect responsible for designing, optimizing, and governing enterprise‑grade SAS Data Integration Studio solutions. Leads ETL design, data modeling, workflow optimization, and performance tuning while ensuring data governance, security, and compliance. Collaborates with business, BI, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and delivers architectural documentation and knowledge transfer. Expectations: - 8+ years of hands‑on SAS architecture and development experience. - Immediate onsite engagement in Paris for a 2–3 month contract (B2B). - Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Architect enterprise‑grade solutions using SAS Data Integration Studio. - Lead ETL design, data modelling, and workflow optimization. - Define best practices for SAS‑based data integration frameworks. - Optimize performance of SAS ETL jobs and batch processes. - Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards. - Translate business and BI requirements into scalable SAS solutions. - Produce architectural documentation and conduct knowledge transfer. Required Skills: - Extensive experience with SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and SAS Enterprise Guide. - Expert SAS Data Integration Studio knowledge. - Strong ETL & data warehousing concepts and performance tuning. - Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). - Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills. - Availability for onsite work in Paris. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - SAS certifications (e.g., SAS Certified Advanced Programmer or SAS Certified Data Integration Studio) preferred. Nice to Have: - Experience with SAS Viya and cloud environments (AWS, Azure). - Industry experience in financial services, healthcare, or telecom.
