Job Description
**Job title:** Embedded Software Team Lead **Role Summary:** Lead design, development, and validation of embedded software for avionics and defense equipment. Manage a small team of 2–3 embedded software engineers, ensuring alignment with project schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements across multidisciplinary collaboration. **Expectations:** - 10+ years embedded software development experience (C/C++). - 5+ years technical team leadership or project management. - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks. - Strong written and spoken technical English, including documentation. - Familiarity with microcontroller/processor architecture, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and validate embedded software solutions for aircraft and defense systems. - Direct and mentor the embedded software engineering team. - Define project scopes, schedules, and deliverables; track progress against milestones. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, systems, QA, regulatory) to ensure integration and compliance. - Maintain and improve CI/CD workflows and configuration control processes. - Produce clear, concise technical documents, design reviews, and validation reports. - Drive continuous improvement practices and knowledge sharing within the team. **Required Skills:** - C/C++ embedded programming. - Microcontroller and embedded processor expertise. - Experience with configuration management and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools. - Technical writing and documentation in English. - Team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management. - Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and synthesis of complex requirements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree or equivalent (engineering, electronics, embedded systems, industrial computing, or related). - Industry certifications beneficial (e.g., ISO 26262, DO‑178C, aerospace standards).
