Job Description
Job title: HR Business Partner Role Summary: Strategic HR partner for the R&D site in Lyon, guiding organization design, workforce planning, talent management, and cultural transformation. Acts as advisor, change agent, and engagement driver to support innovation and performance. Expectations: - Influence senior leaders on HR strategy and organizational changes. - Champion digitalisation, agility and innovation initiatives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with employee representatives and managers. - Deliver measurable improvements in talent acquisition, development, and retention. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with R&D leaders on organization design, workforce planning and key strategic projects. - Lead recruitment of top profiles, manage onboarding and career development programs. - Drive performance management, talent reviews and succession planning. - Coach managers to strengthen leadership capabilities. - Design and implement engagement and retention initiatives. - Analyze HR data and analytics to identify trends and recommend actions. - Lead social dialogue, conduct CSE meetings and ensure compliance with French labour law. - Oversee payroll, contracts and health insurance administration. - Contribute to global HR initiatives, process improvements and digitalisation projects. Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years as HRBP, preferably in R&D or technical environments. - Deep knowledge of French labour law and social dialogue. - Strong influencing, coaching and stakeholder partnership abilities. - Fluent in French and English, excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in HR data analysis and HRIS systems. - Change management expertise and experience with digital transformation initiatives. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. - Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM‑SCP, PHR) considered an asset.
