Job Description
Job Title: International Capture Manager Role Summary: Lead strategic capture and business development efforts for international and globally executed programs in WMD nonproliferation, security cooperation, emergency response, and expeditionary logistics. Build and maintain industry partnerships, qualify opportunities, analyze markets, and support high‑value RFP responses to secure new business growth. Expactations: * Recognize, qualify, and pursue overseas and worldwide contracting opportunities. * Cultivate and sustain relationships with industry partners, government agencies, and stakeholders. * Deliver competitive capture solutions from early shaping through award, ensuring alignment with business development objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and assess international opportunities, including market intelligence on targeted federal departments and agencies. * Manage the capture lifecycle for highly competitive RFPs, coordinating pipeline development, bid strategy, gate reviews, and proposal content. * Lead pipeline, bid, gate, and proposal review activities; apply capture budgeting and teaming strategies. * Conduct due‑diligence and strategic planning initiatives to support business development and proposal development. * Respond to government market research inquiries and represent the business development team at industry events and customer meetings. * Partner with proposal writers to develop compelling content aligned with capture objectives. Required Skills: * Proven experience in international capture and business development for federal or defense contracting. * Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management across industry and government partners. * Ability to lead complex multi‑disciplinary capture teams and deliver high‑impact proposals. * Analytical skills for market assessment, opportunity qualification, and capture budgeting. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. * Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and international contracting mechanisms. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Certified “Capture Professional” (CPP) or equivalent in capture/market development is highly desirable (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner, CRA). ---
