Expectations: - Deliver robust Apex code, Lightning components, and API integrations that meet business requirements. - Implement comprehensive unit and automated tests, championing test automation across the team. - Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, and product managers to design and adopt best practices. - Resolve production incidents promptly while maintaining strong change control processes. - Keep up‑to‑date with Salesforce releases, security model, and platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, controllers, REST/SOAP APIs, and Lightning components. - Build and manage automated test suites using tools such as Provar, Selenium, or similar frameworks. - Design, conduct, and troubleshoot automated tests, including security validation. - Participate in sandbox management, deployment cycles, and version control (Git). - Work with Salesforce administrators to ensure consistent rollout practices. - Mentor and coach teammates on test automation and best development practices. - Liaise with business users to clarify requirements and ensure smooth adoption of new features. Required Skills: - Strong Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning, API, flow). - Proficient in test automation—Provar or equivalent, with knowledge of Selenium, test builders, and direct code manipulation. - Solid understanding of Salesforce security model and deployment best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an Agile environment. - Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve bugs efficiently. - Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery pipelines and expansion of test automation across teams.
