Job Description
Job Title: IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer (Multidisciplinary Profile) Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT infrastructures across on‑premise, hybrid, and cloud environments while serving as a technical reference for system engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, and network technologies. Lead and support infrastructure projects, ensuring high reliability, performance, and compliance. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutions on time and within scope - Continuously improve system reliability, security posture, and automation - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders - Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for architecture and security strategies Key Responsibilities: - Architect, deploy, and support Windows and Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) in development, staging, and production - Configure and monitor network components (routing, switching, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) - Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures: endpoint protection, identity & access management, patching, vulnerability remediation, SIEM - Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects (migrations, rollouts, integrations) using DevOps practices - Automate provisioning and configuration with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Git - Document solutions, designs, and procedures; contribute to architecture and security strategy - Ensure service reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of components Required Skills: - 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles - Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) - Cloud platform experience: AWS or Azure (certification a plus) - Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls - Security practices: endpoint protection, IAM, patch management, SIEM tools - Automation & configuration management: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Git - Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and project delivery - Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills - Fluency in English (knowledge of French or Dutch a plus) Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Certifications (preferred): AWS/Azure Associate, CCNA, Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSA), CompTIA Security+, ITIL, PMP - Additional security or cloud certifications beneficial but not mandatory
