Job Title: Junior Back-end Engineer
Role Summary:
Junior Back‑end Engineer supporting a fast‑moving engineering team. Responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling server‑side components that power real‑world applications. Works closely with product, front‑end, and DevOps stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, secure, and performant backend services.
Expactations:
1–2 years of backend development experience (internships or personal projects included). Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code and a strong willingness to learn, iterate, and accept feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server‑side logic using modern backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, or Go).
- Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs, ensuring consistency and security.
- Support database design, modeling, query optimization, and data integrity for PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Collaborate with front‑end and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end features and resolve technical constraints.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and ensure code quality through reviews.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement scalability improvements.
- Stay current with emerging backend practices, DevOps tooling, and AI‑related integrations.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Go).
- Understanding of REST API principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Version control using Git and familiarity with branching workflows.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to learn rapidly, adapt to new technologies, and collaborate within a cross‑functional team.

Required Education & Certifications:
