Job Description
Job Title: Intelligence Analyst – Fraud Role Summary: Provide investigative support to the Counter‑Fraud and intelligence teams, focusing on standalone claims flagged for fraud. Gather, analyze, and document evidence using databases and open‑source intelligence, producing formal reports that align with case specifications and legal standards. Maintain data protection compliance, manage time effectively against billing targets, and adapt to varied work types. Expected Outcomes: Deliver accurate, evidence‑based reports within prescribed deadlines; consistently meet or exceed billable hour targets; demonstrate advanced analytical skills using i2 software; exhibit comprehensive knowledge of legal principles relevant to personal injury claims; uphold strict data protection and sensitive data handling protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct investigations using proprietary databases and OSINT tools. - Prepare case‑specific reports, analyzing findings and supporting evidence. - Ensure all investigations comply with data protection and confidentiality requirements. - Record hours and manage time in line with billing procedures and fee agreements. - Manage a diverse caseload, prioritising tasks to meet time‑bound deliverables. - Collaborate with fraud and broader law teams to support wider business objectives. - Maintain accurate documentation of investigative methodologies and outcomes. Required Skills: - 2+ years experience as an intelligence analyst. - Proficient with i2 software and other investigative databases. - Strong understanding of personal injury claims and general legal principles. - Excellent data protection awareness and handling of sensitive information. - Advanced MS Office proficiency; adept at online research and resource utilisation. - Superior time‑management and billing‑tracking capabilities. - Clear written and verbal communication skills for report creation.
