Job Title: Sales Development Representative Role Summary: Prospect and qualify technical prospects (DevOps, SRE, cloud platform leads) to generate qualified meetings for the sales pipeline. Serve as the first sales hire, developing outreach playbooks and refining messaging to target mid‑sized companies with significant cloud spend. May progress from SDR to full‑time AE based on performance. Expectations: Generate a steady pipeline of booked demos by executing outbound sequences, qualifying inbound leads, and converting qualified contacts into scheduled meetings. Demonstrate self‑sufficiency, adaptability, and a strong learning curve in the cloud/DevOps ecosystem. Cultivate ownership of sales processes and contribute to the development of the company’s inaugural sales motion. Key Responsibilities: - Design and run targeted outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) focused on infra engineers and technical leads. - Research and tailor outreach to avoid generic messaging; adapt tone for technical audiences. - Qualify inbound leads and convert them into booked demos. - Collaborate with founders to refine ICP, messaging, and channel strategy. - Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in the CRM (HubSpot). - Continuously learn cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cost‑management concepts to converse credibly with prospects. Required Skills: - Proven outbound sales prospecting, lead qualification, and meeting‑booking experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts concisely. - Self‑managed, organized, comfortable handling ambiguity and rapid change. - Fluent in English; comfortable engaging EU and US technical prospects. - Familiarity with sales engagement and CRM tools: Clay, Sumble, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot. - Curiosity and enthusiasm for cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and emerging AI‑driven cost tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Final year of a business, engineering, or generalist program, or 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer‑facing role. - No mandatory certifications required.
