Job Description
**Job title** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Build, operate, and enhance AWS‑based infrastructure for a fast‑growing SaaS platform. Contribute to Terraform provisioning, container orchestration (ECS/EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observe‑and‑respond systems while collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams. **Expectations** - 1–4 years of DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure experience (or equivalent hands‑on work). - Comfort navigating AWS services (IAM, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS). - Ability to own defined infra components within a mentored scope. - Active participation in on‑call or incident response rotations. - Demonstrated willingness to learn, improve, and take increasing responsibility. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain production‑grade AWS infrastructure with Terraform. - Provision, update, and audit resources across multiple environments. - Operate and optimize container platforms (ECS/EKS) hosting Node.js services. - Enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and release automation. - Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. - Coordinate with senior engineers, software teams, product, and security to translate needs into reliable infra solutions. - Continuously improve workspace reliability, scalability, and automation. **Required Skills** - AWS fundamentals: IAM, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch; containers: ECS/EKS. - Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. - CI/CD pipeline design and management. - Containerization with Docker; basic Kubernetes or ECS knowledge. - Programming in Node.js, Python, or Go. - Observability: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana (bonus). - Serverless concepts (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) – bonus. - SRE principles, incident response, and reliability engineering. - Collaborative problem‑solving and strong communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate) are advantageous but not mandatory.
