Backed by General Catalyst, the same investors behind Stripe and Airbnb, we’re one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS companies – building the technology that enables global enterprises to give, volunteer, and fund with confidence.

Our Mission

Our mission at Goodstack is to revolutionize how the world does good .

As a Series A social impact startup, we power global change through technology. We enable companies to seamlessly integrate positive impact into what they do through a unified platform while supporting nonprofits in gaining access to cutting-edge technology and finding new funding streams.

Global brands, including Google, OpenAI, TikTok, LinkedIn, HSBC, Atlassian and Twilio - as well as thousands of nonprofits, including the Red Cross, Cancer Research, and Oxfam - use Goodstack to make a difference.

In 2025 alone, we have facilitated $5 billion in donations to good causes. But this is just the beginning. We're building the world’s leading platform that powers donations to nonprofits globally.

To keep our momentum and deliver consistently high value to our partners, we need incredible people to help us on our journey – we need you

Join us as a Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Platform Engineer to help us build, operate, and improve the infrastructure that supports our products and teams. You’ll be a hands-on contributor working alongside senior engineers, learning best practices while gradually taking ownership of core systems.

If you enjoy automation, care about reliability, want to grow your cloud and infrastructure skills, and love enabling developers to do their best work, this role is for you.

As a Platform Engineer, your mission will be to:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our AWS based systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and automation.
Work with existing Terraform codebases to provision and manage infrastructure across environments.
Help operate and improve our containerised platforms (ECS/EKS), supporting Node.js services in production.
Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release automation.
Participate in monitoring, alerting, and incident response, learning how to run systems reliably at scale.
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure improvements and best practices.
Continuously learn and grow your skills across cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps tooling.

You’ll work closely with:

Senior Platform Engineers who will mentor and support your growth.
Software Engineers to help them deploy, operate, and scale their services.
Product Teams to understand upcoming needs and translate them into infrastructure solutions.
Security and Compliance partners to follow secure-by-default practices.

After 3 months, success will look like:

Comfortable navigation of our AWS environments and Terraform setup.
Ownership of specific infrastructure components or services with guidance.
Contribution to meaningful improvements to CI/CD, monitoring, or deployment workflows.
Active participation in on-call or incident response rotations (with support).
You’re steadily growing in confidence and independence as a platform engineer.

This role is a perfect match for you if you have:

1–4 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure role (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Practical experience with AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, IAM, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch).
Working knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
Experience with a programming language like Node.js, Python or Go
Experience with Docker and a basic understanding of Kubernetes or ECS.
A strong desire to learn, improve, and take on increasing responsibility.
A collaborative mindset — you enjoy working with others and asking questions.

What we offer:

Hands-on exposure to modern cloud and platform engineering practices.
Mentorship from experienced senior engineers.
Opportunities to grow into a senior platform role over time.
A team that values learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Real impact on systems used by developers and customers every day.

Bonus if you have knowledge or love of:

Hands-on experience with observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Exposure to serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge).
Familiarity with Typescript/Node.js ecosystems.
Comfort with incident response, SRE principles, and reliability engineering.
