Job Description

**Job title** Network Engineer **Role Summary** Design, configure, deploy, and maintain secure network and Fortinet security solutions for mission‑critical environments. Provide continuous support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network and security infrastructure, ensuring zero downtime and compliance with best practices. **Expectations** - Proven experience as a Network Engineer in complex, secure environments. - Deep hands‑on knowledge of Fortinet technologies (firewalls, UTM, NGFW). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for high‑availability networks. - Eligible for and willing to obtain a minimum of SC security clearance. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, configure, and support Fortinet security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement resolutions. - Create and update VLAN configurations ensuring zero downtime for production users. - Review, upgrade, and optimize firewall rules and policies. - Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with security standards. - Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on network projects and upgrades. - Produce and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation and configuration records. **Required Skills** - Expertise in Fortinet products and configuration. - Proficiency in network design, routing, switching, and VLAN management. - Experience with firewall rule creation and optimization. - Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities. - Documentation and technical writing skills. - Collaboration and communication skills for cross‑functional projects. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Fortinet NSE 5 or higher certification (or equivalent validated Fortinet expertise). - Security clearance eligibility at SC level.
