ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Network engineer with strong Fortinet expertise to join our team. This role will focus on the design, implementation, support and optimisation of network and security infrastructure.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, configure and support Fortinet security solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues
Creation and update of VLANs, ensuring zero downtime for production users
Perform firewall rule reviews, upgrades and optimisations
Support network security best practices and compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on network projects
Produce and maintain technical documentation

ABOUT YOU

Proven experience as a Network Engineer in complex environments
Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues

CONTRACT DETAILS

Contract length: 6 months with possibility of extension
Start date: January 2026
Location: Hybrid with 3 days on site in Derby
