**Job Title**
Network Engineer
**Role Summary**
Designs, deploys, and supports network infrastructure for corporate real estate projects—including new builds, expansions, relocations, and co‑locations—working with global and local facilities teams and project managers to deliver solutions that meet organizational standards.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end network design and implementation for real‑estate initiatives.
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BoM) and documentation for transition to operations.
- Maintain and upgrade network assets as part of approved projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build, and configure LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points for Greenfield sites, expansions, relocations, and co‑locations.
- Prepare BoM and site layouts; ensure compliance with physical infrastructure (MEP) diagrams.
- Execute network upgrades and enhancements; perform site surveys, installations, and configuration management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including Transition‑to‑Operations (TTO) records and configuration inventories.
- Provide network support for evolving real‑estate programs and additional tasks as required.
- Liaise with project managers to align technical design with project timelines and organizational standards.
**Required Skills**
- 4+ years of hands‑on network and infrastructure experience in real‑estate or facilities environments.
- Core networking knowledge: routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, STP, VTP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Proficiency with SD‑WAN design and resilient topologies.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and other major platforms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: firewalls, VPNs, secure network design.
- Scripting/automation (Python, Ruby, Perl) for network task automation.
- Ability to translate site plans and MEP diagrams into physical and logical network layouts.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, analytical, and multitasking capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE‑ENT) are a plus.
