Job Title: Senior Consultant – Java Engineer Role Summary Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, scalable Java enterprise applications on a short‑term contract basis. Engage with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, lead code reviews, and ensure delivery of secure, cloud‑enabled microservices and RESTful APIs. Expectations - Immediate availability to start a 3‑month contract with potential extension. - Proven senior‑level consulting experience in Java development. - Ability to work independently yet collaborate closely with client and technical stakeholders. - Commitment to deliver on tight timelines while upholding quality and security standards. Key Responsibilities - Architect and build scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, MVC, and Hibernate/JPA. - Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and integrate heterogeneous data sources. - Maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and support cloud deployments on AWS. - Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and debugging to ensure reliability and security. - Participate in agile ceremonies and client‑facing technical discussions as needed. - Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
