Job Description
Job title: Strategic Account Executive Role Summary: Lead revenue growth and customer success for a portfolio of enterprise accounts in a software subscription environment, overseeing the full account lifecycle from onboarding to renewal while driving upsell and expansion opportunities. Expectations: - Achieve consistent seven‑digit revenue growth from existing enterprise customers. - Maintain high renewal rates and customer retention. - Identify and secure expansion and cross‑sell opportunities within managed accounts. - Deliver measurable adoption and value creation for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing. - Manage onboarding, implementation, and ongoing engagement to ensure customer success. - Conduct regular business reviews, tracking account health metrics and expansion potential. - Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align solutions and feedback. - Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Required Skills: - Minimum 15 years of experience in software subscription sales, preferably with a SaaS or DevOps focus. - Proven ability to close multi‑million dollar enterprise deals. - Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills. - Deep understanding of the full account lifecycle and enterprise sales processes. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities. - Proficiency in Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence or equivalent tools. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively. - Data‑driven mindset with competency in using sales and customer success metrics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). - Relevant sales certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Professional in Sales Leadership) are a plus.
