Job Description
Job title: Strategic Advisor – Information Technologies Role Summary Provide executive-level advice on medium‑to‑long term IT strategy, operating models, and cost governance. Transform and carve out enterprise IT services in alignment with business objectives while ensuring security, compliance, and innovation. Expectations * Deliver a comprehensive analysis of target operating models, risks, opportunities, and budget. * Define a 36‑month roadmap for partial or complete carve‑out of IT services. * Recommend structure, governance, procurement, and staffing for future IT organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Design and implement I&T operating model, org structure, and governance. 2. Propose and evaluate viable Target Operating Models, including hardware, software, data architecture, and end‑user support. 3. Develop a 36‑month transition roadmap for carve‑out of IT services. 4. Create detailed global IT service delivery plan within budget and service levels. 5. Lead scope, sourcing, procurement, and contract selection for external providers. 6. Recommend recruitment and organization design for future IT teams. 7. Advise on hardware management, application landscape streamlining, and data strategy compliance. 8. Evaluate and facilitate innovation hubs while preventing duplication. Required Skills * 15+ years of hands‑on IT leadership experience. * Proven success in designing & delivering enterprise‑wide IT services. * Expertise in operating model development, governance, budget control, and cost optimisation (TCO, cost per user). * Deep knowledge of data strategy, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity architecture, and training frameworks. * Experience in international, mid‑size organizations. * Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, CISSP) preferred. ---
