Job Specifications

I'm currently supporting a client in their search for a skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join their product development team and help integrate AI, agent-based architectures, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) into their analytics platform. This is a hybrid role in the Flemish Region.

What You'll Do

Develop scalable back-end services and APIs (Python) for AI/agent workflows and MCP integration.
Implement secure authentication/authorization.
Build data pipelines to support AI features in compliance with enterprise standards.
Collaborate in an agile team with engineers, data scientists, and product owners.
Write tests, conduct code reviews, and help shape back-end best practices.
Stay up to date on back-end and ML technologies and suggest improvements.

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
Strong experience in Python development.
Knowledge of AI agent-based architectures and MCP integration.
Familiarity with Key cloak or similar identity management systems.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Git.
Agile team experience and strong communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

Java/Spring Boot, unit testing frameworks, or cloud experience (AWS, Azure).
Solid understanding of SQL.
