Summary

Do you have experience of providing Product Delivery Lead expertise, on a data led project?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading FMCG company. The role sits within the Data Analytics team, focused on delivering a new data product for supply chain reporting. This is a high-profile programme requiring strong leadership, technical understanding, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

The project needs a consultant who has:

a proven track record as a Delivery Lead in agile environments and global programmes.
a background with top-tier consulting firms.
experience working with data analytics teams and delivering data-driven products.
strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

Lead delivery of a data product for supply chain reporting, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget
Manage project governance, including structuring and running Steering Committees
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
Engage closely with business users to capture requirements and shape product delivery
Oversee cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, business users) to ensure seamless delivery
Track progress, budgets, risks, and dependencies, providing transparent updates to senior stakeholders
Champion agile delivery practices to ensure iterative, value-driven outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

Background in Big 4 consulting or equivalent top-tier consulting firm
Proven track record as a Delivery Lead in agile environments
Experience working with data analytics teams and delivering data-driven products
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior level
Technical understanding of Python-based analytics (familiarity required, coding not necessary)
Experience managing both business and technical teams on complex delivery programmes.

Optional Requirements:

It will also be advantageous if you have:

FMCG experience beneficial.
